Observations

In Quebec and in Canada, women with disabilities are underrepresented on the labor market and in other spheres of activities in our society.

Women with disabilities are almost totally absent from managerial positions, the cultural scene and the media. The few images that we see are of hospital settings or of tragedies and scandals that affect their lives.

Through this project, we wished to propose a new image, a new perception of women with disabilities in all their plenitude. We want women with disabilities to take their place on the cultural scene and in the media so that decision-makers may acknowledge their true level of participation in, and their contribution to society.
